Princess Margaret Building at the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB)​

While working for Holmes Consulting Group, Ernesto de Peralta has done the detailed building assessment of a 8 storey, 1 basement concrete shear wall building built in 1960s. Building capacity was compared to the earthquake force based on NZ's New Building Standard (NBS). The assessment was done using linear static analysis using ETABS in accordance to AS/NZS 1170, NZS 3101, & NZSEE Guideline "Assessment and Improvement of Structural Performance of Buildings in EQ".
